Sanshi Buddhas have been the main Buddhas worshiped in the Tibetan Buddhism (commonly known as Lamaism) Temples since 13th Century. Sanshi Buddhas on Bixiao Rock are reliefs on the cliff, carved in 1292AD with a history of over 700 years from now, the oldest and the best preserved Lamaism Sanshi Buddha stone sculpture in China, and also a best demonstration of the harmonious coexistence of diversified cultures and religions in Quanzhou.
