In the conceptual zone of “Ruixiang Elegant Spot” to the left peak of Qingyuan Mountain, a wood-like stone chamber built in the 19th year of the Chenghua reign period of the Ming Dynasty (1483AD) can be found. The stone statue of Sakyamuni Buddha in a standing posture inside was carved out of a natural huge stone by the north of Tianzhu Peak during the Song Dynasty, with a height of 4.23m, a width of 1.5m and a 0.39m high Lotus Base. The exquisite workmanship and well preservation make it one of the few Northern Song Dynasty Buddha sculptures with word recordings in Fujian Province and also one of the National Key Cultural Relics Protection Sites.
